NaBloPoMo – Go!

Usually at this time of year I am frenetically (TITLE REFERENCE!) trying to gather some ideas for NanoWrimo and then inevitably kicking myself in the shins when November rolls around and writer’s block hits me like a missile. Every year without fail, I have a fistful of ideas that suddenly evaporate once I sit down to write. One year I managed to nudge past the 25,000 word mark and as I sat back to admire my determination, all inspiration went away. I could have cried.

This year however, I’m taking a new approach. Fellow blogger and lovely lady Sam brought NaBloPoMo to my attention. National Blog Posting Month. There isn’t a theme for November, just blogging for the sake of it. Naturally I love this idea because it doesn’t require I keep tabs on a word count and there isn’t a particular narrative I need to be bearing in mind.

That doesn’t mean I’m overflowing with inspiration and ideas to bore you people with during November. So, I need your inspiration. There’s a handy comments section down there, and I want prompts. Even if just a sentence, it might come in handy for a random post over the 30 days of November.

In the meantime, best I start saving my brain. Ahem.
